Kind of Funny

The Patpatar hearing God’s Word
“It’s kind of
funny if you think about it,” one of the Patpatar ‘Big Men’
explained to me and Butch. “It’s kind of funny that two white
strangers from America are teaching us in OUR tribal language. It
is good though, because like you said, God wants us to clearly
understand His Word. What you are teaching is good. It is already
making things clear to us.”
We have just
completed our first week of teaching, during which we laid the
foundations of God as the Creator and owner of everything. This
week we will continue teaching foundational principles from God’s
Word. We will teach on the creation of man, death as the
consequence of sin, and the fall of Lucifer. Pray that the Patpatar
people will continue to come and hear God’s Word and that the Spirit
of God will illuminate their understanding and draw them to Himself.
Thank you for all
the emails of encouragement and prayer. It was a good week.
Teaching in the morning for all of us; home-schooling for Lori in
the afternoon; writing more lessons, correcting, and preparing for
the next day for myself; alongside the normal days activities has
made for some really long days. Thank you for being a part of the
work to see the Patpatar reached with the Gospel of Christ and to
see God glorified in their lives!
All for Him,
Aaron
