The most popular question asked of me this week is,
“Aaron he?” or “Malom he?” In Patpatar this means, “Where’s
Aaron?” That’s right, Aaron is not anywhere in Patpatar right now
and hasn’t been since Saturday. This is no cause for alarm though.
God knows exactly where he is, and so do I.
This week Aaron had the honor of accompanying two
experienced NTM missionaries along with two Papua New Guinea
nationals on a survey. A survey is a time when we send experienced
missionaries into an area to observe and investigate to see how
much interest and how practical it would be to place new
missionaries into that particular tribe. Aaron took our boat along
with these men and has been surveying the tribes of Siar and
Kandas.
This is a very exciting time for our region as we
look to place new missionaries into one of these areas. Please
pray:
*Aaron as well as one of the Papua New Guinea men
left with cases of malaria. I have since heard that they are
doing well, and everyone on the survey team is healthy. Pray
they continue to be healthy.
*A safe time as they travel by boat. The seas have been very
unpredictable.
*Pray for the girls and me as we are in the tribe without Dad.
*Pray this survey will result in open doors for ministry and for
God’s will to be clearly shown to the missionaries looking at
these areas.
Aaron will be back Thursday night USA time, Friday
our time. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to hear his
stories about this trip!
In God’s watchful care,
