We Passed

Last "New Guinea News" we were telling you about the "Final" that we were going to be taking. Well.we passed! We had a good trip across the channel to Kokopo to meet with our consultant. Our Patpatar language helper enjoyed his time in the city with us, though we could tell that he was a bit out of his comfort zone. The ride back to Patpatar the next day was a bit rougher, but we made it safe and sound though not necessarily dry.

According to our consultant Aaron has passed his 3rd check and is now ready to start on the 4th and last stage of his language and culture learning. Lori has not only passed her 2nd check, but is probably somewhere between check two and 3. She has done an incredible job learning the language and being a partner for Aaron in Patpatar along with all of her other responsibilities around the house.

Thank you for your prayers. We are excited to be nearing the finish of this phase of ministry and moving on to teaching and translation in Patpatar.
