OVERSEAS OFFICE

They came half way around the world to build an
office. In February of this year, a group of 8 from Iowa spent a
week a half in the Patpatar Tribe. A group of men from Holly Springs
Bible Fellowship which included Pastor Jim, Gail, Lynn, Jay, Joshua,
Todd, my cousin Chris and also my Aunt Tammy were a huge blessing to
us. I now have a place underneath our house where I can work on my
computer doing language and culture and work on memory. It is set up
so that the Patpatar people can feel free to come and go.
Not only did the team build an office, but they
also built a storage shed under our house and cemented and screened
in the laundry area under the house. They ran water lines for us,
installed plumbing and electric, finished the verandah, filled in
cracks, put shutters on the windows and did many other jobs. Not
only the months of time that they saved us in physical labor, but
also the fellowship was a tremendous blessing to us.
In addition to the work they did, they were able
to see the village, the gardens in the rainforest, a local cave, and
snorkel on the reef. To see pictures and more information about
their trip visit the Holly Springs Bible Fellowship website at
