New Guinea News - DEATH DOESN'T WAITThe other day I (Aaron) was talking with a small
group of people when a lady came walking up with an 18 month old
child in her arms. The big bright eyes of the baby and its
innocent look grabbed my attention. When the lady holding the
child saw me looking at it, she quickly spoke up. I am not the
mother, its mother was the one that died last week.
The week before I had been to the funeral feast
of the young lady who had died, but with the hundreds of people
around and their use of kinship terms, it was hard to determine
who her family was. She left behind 6 children and headed into a
Christ-less eternity.
It is hard for us in these situations when we
are still learning their language and death does not wait for us.
Please continue to pray for us that we will be able to learn their
language and culture fast so that we can share the Gospel of hope,
so that others will be able to glorify God with us.
Investing time for eternity,
