MEDICAL UPDATE
We
are now in Australia! While I was at the
mission clinic in PNG, the doctor became concerned when some
pain started to return and some of the blood tests did not look
quite right. Without the proper equipment to check various
possibilities of what could be wrong, he made the decision to
send me to Australia for the proper tests and care.
Thankfully,
after a weekend in the hospital and a few other check-ups, it
appears that everything is okay. The tests did not show any
major problems, only some remaining infection. So, with a
little medicine in hand, we have been given
the clear to head back to the tribe. We will be retuning
next week…thank you for your prayers through this time.
OUR TEAM

Since
we are in Australia and able to send
larger emails, we wanted to send you a picture of our Patpatar
team and introduce you to them. On the left is our family with
our two girls Avalon and Sierra. In the middle is the Marbach
family and on the right is the Kunzer family.
Jim and
Tina Marbach with their children Jimmy (not pictured), Boaz (on
the ground), and Sylvia (in yellow) have been in PNG for four
years and have been working among the Patpatar the longest – for
1˝ years. Jim is currently about half way through the language
and culture learning process. They have just returned to their
home in Indiana for their one year
furlough. They have been a great help in getting us and Kunzers
established in the tribe and have built some great relationships
with the people.
Butch
and Tammy Kunzer with their four girls: Ellen (standing in
blue), Hannah Grace (in pink), Rebekah (in yellow), and Ansley
(in blue) joined the work at the same time we did and moved into
the tribe in February. Butch has begun the task of learning the
language and ways of the Patpatar. They are from Georgia and
Missouri and have been a great asset to
our team.
For His
Glory,
Aaron, Lori,
Avalon, and Sierra
Note: We
have recently added several of you on our email list, either as
a request from you or someone you know. If you do not want to
be on our list, or you are receiving more than one copy, please
let us know so we can correct it.
